Colombian Leonardo Paez (TX Active-Bianchi) on Bianchi Methanol 29SL placed third at Plan de Corones Mtb Race in San Virgilio di Marebbe (Bozen, Northern Italy) on Sunday, July 1st. Back from the win at Sella Ronda Hero, Paez was impeded only in the late race by cramps and a puncture. After 72 km of hard race, he crossed the finish-line behind Juri Ragnoli and Alexey Medvedev.

Stephane Tempier on Bianchi Methanol SL2  placed 43rd in Windham (Maine, US) at World Cup XCO round-6, on Sunday, July 1st. French élite is now 17th in the GC with 429 points.

Junior team took a victory and three podiums at XC Italian Youth Championships in Courmayeur (Val d'Aosta region). Katia Moro on Bianchi Methanol SX is the new national champion among Rookie, thanks to the 18th seasonal success: it's the third “tricolore” jersey achieved in this season by the TX Active-Bianchi's newcomer, first overall at CX and Team relay Italian championships. Next year Moro will wear green-white-red jersey in all the races she will take part. Chiara Teocchi placed second among Cadets, as well as Giorgio Rossi, who preceded his team-mate Oscar  Vairetti in the Cadets male race.
