| The name is very promising. HOC is in fact the acronym of HORS CATEGORY, which means a race, or a bicycle, that is one of a
kind or beyond category. Like all Bianchi models, it features a geometry conceived from the extreme research of the lightnessperformances
ratio. It is ideal for the most evolved and demanding of rider. |
928 Carbon superleggera
1949, 1952, 1998. These are the years in which Bianchi won both the Giro and the Tour.
The last digits, together, compose the name of a range of unique bicycles. The 928 Carbon SL
frame is stiff, reactive and light, it weighs only 900 g and is made of unidirectional carbon
fibre, with the most advanced production processes, including nanotechnology. The
new Full Carbon fork, also in unidirectional carbon, features an internal structural
reinforcement (TSR) which increases its lateral stiffness, weighing only 315 g. |
FG
The initials of a great champion; Felice Gimondi and the adjective “lite”, defi ning the
main feature of this model. Made in triple-butted hyperalloy aluminium, it has ultrathin and
ultralight tubing.
The bottom bracket shell is reinforced by the Structural Foam Injection,
a Bianchi patent. |
