Bianchi + Team MTB + Product
Team Bianchi Countervail’s Marco Aurelio Fontana and Chiara Teocchi kept up their lead at the Internazionali d'Italia Series after the second round held in Milan on Sunday, March 12th. Slowed by a puncture in the early race due to a thumb tack, Fontana finished ninth with Methanol CV in the Men Open race behind teammate Stephane Tempier, sixth with a 1:01 gap from the winner Florian Vogel. Teocchi placed fourth among the Women Under 23.

FONTANA: "THE THUMB TACK? UNFAIR BUT I'M HAPPY ANYWAY"
Got to finish line with a 1’52” gap from the winner, Fontana tries considered the glass as half-full, despite his disappointment: "It's the first time I experience a race undermined by a thumb tack: only stupid guys can be so mad and unfair. I realized it wasn't a normal pucture, what a pity: I had good sensations for my race, but I couldn't fight for the victory. Fortunately, I can get satisfaction from retaining the GC leader's jersey" Fontana commented.

TEOCCHI: "I AIM TO HOLD THE LEAD UNTIL THE END"
Eleventh overall in Milan, Chiara Teocchi kept the Women Under 23 series' lead by placing fourth behind Swiss Alessandra Keller, British Evie Richards and Russian Ekateryna Anoshina, only a few seconds behind the latter. "It was a tough top-level race. I tried to keep a steady pace, then I managed to gain some positions in the final laps for holding the leader's jersey. I aim to remain on the GC top until the end of the Internazionali. My shape is getting better, I hope to continue on this path" Teocchi said after the race.

JUNIOR TEAM
In Milan, Junior Team's riders delivered a good team performance: both Fiammetta Allocca and Marco Gozzi placed ninth in Women Rookie 1 and Men Rookie 2 series, Simone Minotti was 11th in the Cadet 1, Vadim Bodnarenko 26th in the Rookie 1 series.
