Gerhard Kerschbaumer will enter the 2012 London Olympics on the
Hadleigh course, in England.
TX Active-Bianchi’s rider was capped by Italy’s team manager Hubert Pallhuber, together with Marco Aurelio Fontana and Eva Lechner.
Testimonial of
I.got (Italcementi Group Olympic Team), a supporting project for young talents on the road to 2012 Olympics, Kerschbaumer wore the Italian and European champion’s jerseys in 2011 and took three wins in Italy and a second position
at World Cup XCO’s round-1 in South Africa in the early 2012.
20-year-old Kerschbaumer is the second TX Active-Bianchi’s rider capped for London Games. In UK he will meet his élite team-mate
Stephane Tempier, part of the French team: two
Bianchi Methanol bikes will be in the action in Hadleigh. “
I’m really happy I’ve been selected for the Olympics. I’ll try to show what I am worth and to pay Pallhuber back
for his trust in me” Italian biker commented.
“
We thank the Italian team manager – TX Active-Bianchi’s president Felice Gimondi stated –
who chose Gerhard among many options thanks to his great experience. Kerschbaumer is not in a perfect shape actually, but our season’s goals are different than 2011: we aim to enter Olympics and win the World championships”.
