Vuelta a Colombia: Forero won stage-5

Colombia Coldeportes' rider gave the second victory to his team
Juan Pablo Forero sprinted for victory on Bianchi Sempre on Sunday, June 17th. His team-mate Jeffry Romero completed the podium, placing third. Fabio Duarte, winner of the opening ITT, keeps the second position in the general classification

Juan Pablo Forero on Bianchi Sempre took his first seasonal win at Vuelta a Colombia's stage-5, 191,6 km from Armenia to Cali, on Sunday, June 17th. Colombia Coldeportes' rider sprinted for victory ahead of Jairo Salas. After leading out Forero, his team-mate Jeffry Romero placed third.

It was the second victory for team Colombia Coldeportes and Bianchi at South-American stage-race, after Fabio Duarte's one on Bianchi Pico Crono Carbon in the opening ITT. Duarte himself keeps the second position in the GC.

At 2012 Vuelta a Colombia, the team directed by Valerio Tebaldi and Oliverio Rincon also achieved a fifth position with Jeffry Romero in the stage-2 (in Villavicencio) and two third with Esteban Chaves in the stage-3 (in Ibague) and Duarte the day after (in Armenia).
