Under 23 Gerhard Kerschbaumer on Bianchi Methanol SL2 clinched victory at MTB Night Race 2012 in Silandro (Northern Italy), race under floodlights, on Saturday, July 14th. TX Active-Bianchi's Italian, wearing national team's jersey, crossed the finish line 19 seconds ahead of Austrian Alexander Gehbauer e 27 seconds ahead of countryman Franz Hofer and team-mate Tony Longo, on Bianchi Methanol SL2 as well.

Longo was in the forefront in the early race, ahead of World Champion Thomas Litscher and Gehbauer. TX Active-Bianchi's élite rider suffered technical problems in the third lap, whilst Kerschbaumer achieved the race's lead, going to take a solo win.

Italian champion Katia Moro on Bianchi Methanol SX was the best among Rookie at "Cross country del Grappa" in Peja (Bergamo, Northern Italy) on Sunday, July 15th.
