After the bright Saturday at World Cup last round, team TX Active-Bianchi took a further victory on Sunday, July 29th. Tony Longo on Bianchi Methanol SL2 won the Granfondo Alta Valtellina, P2P race in Bormio (Lombardy region), outsprinting countryman Daniele Mensi, after having leaded the race on the 69 km Marathon course.

I knew I’m in a good shape and the course is fit for my skills. I outdistanced Mensi on a short climb, but he was able to recover. I managed to save more energy for the final dash, and got the edge in the sprint” Longo commented.

Federico Barri on Methanol SX placed second Overall and best junior on the 39 km Classic track. His team-mate and coetaneous Cristian Boffelli clinched success as well in Pontida (Lombardy).

Rookie Katia Moro and cadet Chiara Teocchi topped their respective series, whilst cadet Oscar Vairetti was runner up at Youth Italian Cup XCO in Pila (Northern Italy)
