Bianchi continues its sponsorship agreement with
Androni-Venezuela Pro Continental team through 2013, with an option for 2014. For the third consecutive year, Bianchi will be sponsor and official bike supplier of
Gianni Savio’s team.
Bianchi will supply Androni-Venezuela with new
Sempre Pro bike (part of
B4P family –
Born for Performance) to launch the new Bianchi full-carbon monocoque racing frame (universal for mechanical and electronic groups), featuring new over-sized and super rigid down tube and internal cable routing.
“
We are proud to renew with Androni Giocattoli-Venezuela and to continue our successful relationship with Gianni Savio”, Bianchi CEO Bob Ippolito stated. “
We are also very happy that Italian Champion Franco Pellizotti will use the new Sempre Pro
model to further test and develop our carbon racing frames and technology”.
“
There’s a great feeling with Salvatore Grimaldi [Founder and CEO of the Grimaldi Industri AB (“Grimaldi Group”) and Chairman of Bianchi] and Bob Ippolito, and the whole Bianchi staff. Bianchi evokes big champions of the past with the likes
of Fausto Coppi and at the same time Bianchi means high-technology and product development. I’m really happy we’ll continue racing on Bianchi bikes” Androni Giocattoli-Venezuela’s General Manager Gianni Savio commented.
Bianchi and team Androni-Giocattoli took
14 wins in 2012: Tour de Langkawi’s two stages and GC with
Serpa, one stage at Tour de Taiwan, Route Adelie de Vitré and Fleche d’Emeraude with
Ferrari, Giro dell’Appennino with
Felline, two stages at Giro d’Italia with
Rubiano and
