Leukemans and Oltre overpowering in Belgium

Belgian rider took the third victory in a row at Druivenkoerse Overijse
Team Vacansoleil-DCM on Bianchi Oltre reaffirmed its domination, placing three riders in the Top 5 of the race with start and arrival in Overijse. Dutchman Johnny Hoogerland was third, Marco Marcato fourth, both six seconds behind the winner

Vacansoleil-DCM’s Bjorn Leukemans reaffirmed his domination of the Druivenkoerse Overijse, Belgian race with start and finish in Overijse, on Wednesday, August 22nd. The Belgian rider on Bianchi Oltre preceded Kazakh Dimitriy Muravyev and his fellow Vacansoleil-DCM teammates, Dutchman Johnny Hoogerland and Italian Marco Marcato.

Leukemans had already won the Druivenkoerse Overijse in 2010 and 2011. Thanks to this year’s victory, the Belgian rider rises to second in the All-time winners’ ranking, behind countryman Roger De Vlaeminck.
