TX Active-Bianchi’s
Gerhard Kerschbaumer on
Bianchi Methanol SL2 placed seventh among Under 23 at XCO World Championships in
Saalfelden (Austria), on Friday,
September 7th.
“
I felt really fine at the race’s eve, but I wasn’t able to keep the pace of the runaways, unlike I had planned", Kerschbaumer told after the race. In 2011 Italian rider had placed sixth in Champéry, after a season sprinkled with victories all over
the world.
Like twelve months ago, TX Active-Bianchi’s president
Felice Gimondi found the fit words to comfort the Italian champion, once again among the top rider of his series: “
After the warm-up Gerhard told us he had good feeling, but then he
couldn’t express all his potential. We told him to look forward: TX Active-Bianchi and all the Italian off-road movement believe in him”.
Team TX Active-Bianchi congratulate Italian national team’s riders and staff on placing four athletes in the Top-10: Daniele and Luca Braidot took third and fifth respectively, whilst Nicholas Pettinà clinched tenth.
On Sunday,
September 8th, at 2.pm, TX Active-Bianchi will line-up
Stephane Tempier and
Tony Longo on Bianchi Methanol SL2 in the Elite series’ race.
On
September 9th juniors
Federico Barri and
Cristian Boffelli will race Orobie cup’s Scalvebike in
Schilpario (Bergamo).
