Bianchi returns to Friedrichshafen to showcase 2012 new range at Eurobike (August 31st-September 3rd), accompanied by stunning success achieved in sport competitions, establishing the Italian legendary brand as one of
the main players on the international market.
Bianchi’s carbon-focused technological development is definitely a cutting-edge one, with the aim of maximizing the transmission of power through the frame, increasing stiffness to weight ratio, by adding material only where it's needed.
At Eurobike, Oltre, Sempre and Infinito top-models are again in the spotlight after having received a great deal of appreciation, due to the optimizing process of the frame combined with renewed graphics and
colors. New off-road Methanol SL2 (featuring Ti-Net technology: a titanium net inserted in the carbon fiber in the down tube which acts as a barrier to protect the frame) is also very highly regarded, alongside the new
Methanol 29”. Additionally, the new Jab 29” will be unveiled.
What’s new for 2012? With Impulso (part of the C2C family), Bianchi introduces a new exclusive technology. Impulso is a lighter weight aluminum bike featuring the Bianchi’s new exclusive Triple Hydroforming Technology. The
head and down tubes are hydroformed and then fused and molded together to obtain a monocoque structure. The result is a lighter frame with a more rigid head tube area which provides increased stability and handling.
The cooperation with road and off-road professional teams continued providing Bianchi with fantastic feedback from the athletes. Italian professional road team
Androni Giocattoli – CIPI (equipped with Oltre bikes) brought Bianchi excellent results during the Giro d’Italia (two stage wins, 15 top-10 placements and 7th place overall for Jose Rujano).
The same applies to mountain bike, with the great success experienced by
Team TX Active-Bianchi with Gerhard Kerschbaumer leading Bianchi Methanol SL2 to U23 World Cup Race overall success (with five stage wins). Kerschbaumer also clinched European and Italian titles during same 2011 campaign.
With attention to the rider, Bianchi improved the Sport, Urban
and City categories paying close attention to the ladies.
Camaleonte models look as the perfect bike to ride either in the cities and in countryside, whilst newborn
Metropoli winks one eye to those used to comfortable but elegant riding, supporting sustainable mobility.
Bianchi keep supporting its on-going growth in all market segments through intensive communication and marketing activities: partnerships with international fashion brands, licensing projects, new advertising campaigns, global events (such as recent “Bianchi
Café” first opening in Stockholm) and new communication tools (I-Phone app, Facebook, Twitter), in order to be more and more customer-oriented.
