The Performance
range of Mountain bikes is strong and resistant,
suitable on all kinds of terrain: the frames are
light and made from triple butted 7000 series aluminium
alloy. An optimisation of the alloy is more and
more appreciated and employed, even for the top
of the range. Mutt is the perfect choice for Cross
Country: it is a compact , practical and a well
handling design.
The down tube and the chainstays are improved by Hydroforming technology,
along the exclusive specifications of this Reparto Corse design.
Caal and Legor have both front and rear suspension, featuring a 4-bar linkage;
a special and sophisticated technology, designed in cooperation with Renault
Sport R&D, and the Horst Link patent. This special geometry of the
rear triangle is able to keep the power of the pedalling action separate
from the shock-absorbing action, thus allowing a “no-bobbing effect”.
The Caal model features 100mm of travel, whereas the Legor has 130mm. Both
boast elegant finishing, complete with a special anti-corrosion treatment. |
