Musixmatch, the World's greatest digital catalogue of lyrics and translations, and Bianchi launch a "challenge in the challenge" on the way to the upcoming Hero Südtirol Dolomites. Supported by Bianchi, a start-up team made by six among entrepreneurs, architects, engineers and developers, will look for their personal fest in Selva Val Gardena next June 16th, showing up among the over 4.000 athletes taking in the World's most demanding Marathon cycling race.
The goal of the “Heroes We Could Be” riders - this is the name of the team, inspired by a track of Swedish deejay Alesso - goes beyond the sports performance. Their aim is getting to the finish line through commitment, fatigue, teamwork: all in all, the same approach needed for a startup to succeed. Max Ciociola knows it, having experienced it first-hand with the launch of Musixmatch (a former startup focused on AI in the music business) eight years ago, and is now the inventor of the “Heroes We Could Be” project, together with a team of professionals working in different business sectors.
Max will ride with Martino, Giovanni, Giacomo, Giuseppe and Andrea, whose surname is Gaudenzi. Yes, himself: the former tennis player who once defeated "king" Roger Federer in Rome's Foro Italico, 16 years ago.
The six Heroes will compete on a 60-km course with a 3.200-meter elevation, not easy at all for amateur riders. Anyway, they won't be unprepared, also from a technical and technological point of view: Bianchi will support the whole team with the innovative Methanol CV model, the first ever MTB engineered with the exclusive Bianchi CV system: an integrated system that cancel the road vibrations using Countervail® - Material Sciences Corporation's patented carbon material with special fiber architecture and viscoelastic resin, exclusively introduced in cycling by Bianchi.
"We decided to support Heroes We Could Be because both Bianchi and Musixmatch are innovation and inspiration" Bianchi Marketing and Communication Manager Claudio Masnata explained . "The constant seek of the top performance, on a technological, athletic and mental point of view, is something we can borrow from sports to everyday life, to improve ourselves and everything around us. We started from this concept to support the Heroes of Musixmatch like they were professional riders, starting from the most revolutionary MTB in the World, Methanol CV, but also giving them suggestions about training and biomechanics, with the collaboration of our professional Team Bianchi Countervail riders.”
Musixmatch and Bianchi set up a significant digital and social platform to share the whole story, the road to the event and, of course, the race. You can follow the #Heroeswecouldbe project here:
