Chiara Teocchi (Team Bianchi Countervail) is set for another Cyclocross World Cup weekend, with the round 6 in Namur (Belgium) taking stage on Sunday, December 18th. Capped by Italy's National team manager Fausto Scotti, and boosted by the first two victories as Under 23 Women’s European champion in Brugherio and Gorizia, the 20-year-old Italian will ride her Zolder disc in the Women’s Race starting at 1.30 pm.
"I rode on this course last year, so I know how demanding and technical it is, with several descents and climbs to be covered by foot. I think it will be a hard race. I have two goals: take advantage of competing along with the top elite riders, and test myself against the leading U23 rivals so to better understand where I am in terms of condition, and how I can improve in the view of the Italian and World Champs," Teocchi explained.
Last November 26th, the Team Bianchi Countervail athlete debuted in 2016-2017 CX World Cup placing 19th in round-5 in Zeven (Germany).
