There's another special day on Chiara Teocchi's schedule. Team Bianchi Countervail's 20-year-old-Italian will ride her Zolder Disc at UCI Cyclocross World Cup's round 8 to be held in Fiuggi (Italy) on Sunday, January 15th. Back from the CX Italian Championships, where she clinched paired the Women's Under 23 European title with the National one, Teocchi aims to move close to the overall Top-10 in the Women Opens race and to study her rival's shape in view of the Worlds. The Women’s Race is set to start at 1.30 pm.
"Fiuggi's round will be the most important for me, with many Italian friends and enthusiasts coming there to support me. This will give me further motivations. Up to now, I joined several demanding events and feeling a bit tired now, but in two-week time I'll tackle the Worlds, my main goal, and I'll give all my energies to close the CX season in the best possible way" Teocchi comments.
Chiara won't have too much time to rest after being back to ride a Methanol for the MTB season, as she lives to ride a bike and can't wait to train with a new teammate she already met in the National Team, Marco Aurelio Fontana: "I'm eager to approach the new MTB season and really happy with Fontana signing for our team: I think I can learn a lot also from him".
