Fontana in Milan to hold Internazionali d'Italia's lead

After the great debut in Verona ahead of teammate Tempier, Bianchi Countervail's rider will wear the leader's jersey in the round 2 on Sunday, March 12th

Team Bianchi Countervail's Marco Aurelio Fontana will wear the leader's jersey in Internazionali d'Italia Series's round 2 to be held at "La Montagnetta" in Milan on Sunday, March 12th. Further motivated by the home race, the 32-year-old from Milan aims to ride his Methanol CV in the top positions to defend the leadership achieved in Verona ahead of teammate Stephane Tempier. The Frenchman will also compete in round 2 event, as well as Woman U23 Chiara Teocchi.
The Men Open race will start at 12.30 pm. Two hours earlier Teocchi - fourth overall and best Woman Under 23 in Verona - will take part in the the Women Open race.
"I'm really satisfied with the work we did with the Reparto Corse, confirmed by the results we claimed in Verona. We'll try to race in the top positions also in Milan: the presence of other riders could mix the GC up, we must be awake not to lose decisive points" Fontana commented.
Junior Team's four riders will feature in Milan - San Siro as well: Cadet 1 Simone Minotti will start at 9:30 am, Rookie 2 Marco Gozzi at 8:35 am, Rookie 1 Fiammetta Allocca and Vadim Bodnarenko five minutes earlier.
Bianchi supplies the team with two high end carbon models with racing geometry: the revolutionary Methanol CV and Methanol 29.1 FS (full suspension). The Junior Team is equipped with Methanol 29 SX model.
