Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Roglic fifth in San Benedetto del Tronto's stage and fourth overall

Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Jos Van Emden showed his time trial skills once again, grazing the stage win in Tirreno Adriatico’s final ITT (10,5 km with start and finish in San Benedetto del Tronto), on Tuesday March 14th.
Equipped with Aquila CV time trial model, the 32-year-old Dutchman clocked 11:21, 3 seconds slower than the stage winner, Aussie Rohan Dennis, whilst Michael Hepburn rounded out the podium. Another Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s athlete, Slovenian Primoz Roglic, finished fifth in the stage and fourth overall, 45 seconds behind Tirreno-Adriatico’s winner, Colombian Nairo Quintana.
Van Emden gave Bianchi and Team LottoNL-Jumbo the second podium spot in the 52nd Tirreno-Adriatico, after the third place claimed by Roglic in the stage 5 with Oltre XR4.
