Roglic claims victory in Vuelta al Pais Vasco stage 6

Team LottoNL-Jumbo's Slovenian rode Aquila CV to win the 27,7 km ITT in Eibar

Primoz Roglic gave an encore at Vuelta al Pais Vasco, riding his Aquila CV to win the sixth and final stage, a 27,7 km ITT with start and finish in Eibar (Spain) on Saturday, April 8th. Team LottoNL-Jumbo's Slovenian clocked 35:58 with a 9-second advantage on Alejandro Valverde and 15 seconds on Ion Izagirre. Roglic's teammate George Bennett finished 10th with a 1:23 gap. Roglic had already topped the stage 4 with Oltre XR4 in Bilbao.
The success in Eibar pushes Roglic up to fifth in the final classification with a 59-second gap from the overall winner Valverde, whilst Bennett placed eleventh. The Slovenian also placed third in Points Classification (54, 20 less than Valverde) and Team LottoNL-Jumbo sixth in the Teams Classification.
