Stephane Tempier proved himself again as one of XCO World Cup's big guns, placing sixth in Albstadt's stage 2 on Sunday, May 28th. In spite of a slow start, the Frenchman was able to act a constant comeback, taking the same results of Nove Mesto's debut.
In the Men Elite race in Albastadt, won by Nino Schurter ahead of Mathieu Van der Poel and Anton Cooper, Tempier finished with a 1:56 gap from Schurter. Marco Aurelio Fontana didn't complete the race because of a transmission problem. Chiara Teocchi improved the previous result in Czech Republic, going up to the fifteenth in the Women's Under 23 race.
TEMPIER: "A GOOD COMEBACK AFTER A BAD START"
Stephane Tempier is satisfied with his performance in spite of a bad start: "In the early race I lost precious seconds and the opportunity to fight for the victory, even if thanks to my good shape I managed to recover many positions and to finish sixth as I did in Czech Republic", the Frenchman said.
Bianchi supplies the team with two high end carbon models with racing geometry: the revolutionary Methanol CV and Methanol 29.1 FS (full suspension). The Junior Team is equipped with Methanol 29 SX model.
