World Cup, Tempier and Teocchi claim top-10 spots in Lenzerheide

The 31-year-old Frenchman finished ninth after a solid performance. Tenth place for the Italian youngster in the U23 Women’s category

Team Bianchi Countervail achieved a double top-10 results in XCO World Cup’s round 4, in Lenzerheide (Switzerland), on Sunday July 9th. Stephane Tempier finished ninth in the Elite Men’s race after a solid performance, as local hero Nino Schurter kept his winning stretch alive, ahead of Czech Jaroslav Kulhavy and Russian Anton Sintsov.
I'm satisfied with my performance. I tried to focus on my regularity from the first lap. I had good feelings and I’m very confident in view of the next races”, commented Tempier who occupies the fifth place overall, with 450 points. Marco Aurelio Fontana was not able to recover completely from the physical issues of last week in Andorra, placing 29th on the finish line.
Chiara Teocchi finished tenth in the U23 Women’s race, crossing the finishing line 5:58 behind the winner, USA’s Kate Courtney. Second place for Swiss Sina Frei ahead of Brit Evie Richards.
