The Belgian was second with Bianchi Aquila CV at the 2020 UCI World Championships ITT on Imola (Italy), while Tom Dumoulin finished in top-ten

Bianchi and Wout Van Aert continued their incredible season, grazing the victory in the 2020 UCI World Championships ITT on Friday September 25th, 2020. Riding his Aquila CV on Imola circuit, the two-time Belgian ITT champion completed the 31,7 km race in 36:20, 26-seconds behind the winner Filippo Ganna, and 3 seconds ahead of Stefan Küng. Another Aquila CV finished in the top-ten thanks to the tenth place of Tom Dumoulin.

With the second place in UCI World Championships ITT, Wout Van Aert confirmed his excellent shape for the Road Race that will take place on Sunday September 27th, 2020.
