Aquila CV silver with Van Aert at ITT World Championships

Bianchi and Wout Van Aert continued their incredible season, grazing the victory in the 2020 UCI World Championships ITT on Friday September 25th, 2020. Riding his Aquila CV on Imola circuit, the two-time Belgian ITT champion completed the 31,7 km race in 36:20, 26-seconds behind the winner Filippo Ganna, and 3 seconds ahead of Stefan Küng. Another Aquila CV finished in the top-ten thanks to the tenth place of Tom Dumoulin.

With the second place in UCI World Championships ITT, Wout Van Aert confirmed his excellent shape for the Road Race that will take place on Sunday September 27th, 2020. After the double Monument-size successes at Strade Bianche and Milano-Sanremo, the Belgian rider is expected among the top contenders for the Rainbow Jersey.

Van Aert and Dumoulin are equipped with Aquila CV, Bianchi’s ultimate time trial machine engineered with the Bianchi CV System that cancels up 80% of road vibration thanks to a unique composite material integrated into high-performance carbon frames and forks. Aquila CV is designed to increase power output and rider’s energy, with maximum control with each pedal stroke. The super aero handlebar is featured full NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics) airfoil shape.
