Dunkerque, Teunissen tops stage 5 and strengthens primacy

The Team Jumbo-Visma Dutchman rode Oltre XR4 to win in Cassel, with teammate Jansen moving up to second overall

Team Jumbo-Visma celebrated the fourth win out of 5 stages at 4 Jours de Dunkerque / Grand Prix des Hauts de France with race leader Mike Teunissen on Saturday, May 18th. The Dutchman rode Oltre XR4 to top stage 5, 181,5 km from Gravelines to Cassel (France) ahead of Clément Venturini and teammate Amund Grøndahl Jansen. The 26-year-old from Ysselsteyn strengthened his GC lead with a 14-second advantage on Jansen himself, able to move up from fifth to the second spot, and 22 seconds on Keukeleire, fourth placed in Cassel.
Teunissen also overcame another teammate, three-stage winner Dylan Groenewegen, in the Points Classification (63-60), with Jansen seventh.
