Team LottoNL-Jumbo's Primoz Roglic wrapped his first seasonal success, riding his Oltre XR4 to top Tirreno-Adriatico's stage 3, 234 km from Follonica to Trevi (Italy) on Friday, March 9th. The Slovenian burst out from the leading group with 1.300 meters to go, on the steep slopes of the short final uphill, acting a perfect finisseur action awarded by a solo win. Adam Yates tried unsuccessfully to bridge the gap, closing second. Tiesj Benoot rounded out the podium.
Roglic scored Team LottoNL-Jumbo's seventh seasonal victory, after Danny Van Poppel's sprint in Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana's opener and Dylan Groenewegen winning streak in Dubai Tour’s stage 1, Volta ao Algarve em Bicicleta’s first and fourth stage, Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne and Paris-Nice stage 2.
Enhanced with the revolutionary Countervail® vibration cancelling technology, the Bianchi Oltre XR4 high-performance aero road racing machine allows rider to hold the most aerodynamic position at higher speeds and for longer, in order to maximize the aerodynamic advantage. The Oltre XR4 was designed to be at the absolute cutting edge of aerodynamics thanks to advanced CFD and Flow Visualization – technologies borrowed straight from aerospace and F1 car design: technology that turns into valuable watts in head-to-head finishes like today’s.
Bianchi supplies the Team LottoNL-Jumbo with four models engineered with the revolutionary Countervail® Vibration Cancelling Technology:
  • Oltre XR4, designed to maximize the aerodynamic advantage and control
  • Specialissima, the ultralight frame, perfect for GC riders, it’s extra stiff for increased traction and stability at high speeds, and maximum control on the descents
  • Aquila CV, the ultimate time trial machine, designed to increase power output and rider's energy, with maximum control with each pedal stroke
  • Infinito CV, the ideal bike for the Classics, providing remarkable control on uneven surfaces and reducing muscular fatigue
