Roglic wins Itzulia Basque Country's ITT and takes GC lead

In Lodosa (Spain) Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Slovenian clinched victory with Aquila CV, the revolutionary time trial machine engineered with Countervail® Vibration Cancelling Technology

Primoz Roglic claimed victory and took the GC lead at Itzulia Basque Country. Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Slovenian rode Aquila CV to win the 19,4 km ITT with start and finish in Lodosa (Spain) on Thursday, April 5th clocking 22:26, 9 seconds faster than Patrick Bevin. Vasil Kyrienka (+11) rounded out the podium. The success in Lodosa pushed Roglic to the GC lead with a 34-second advantage on Julian Alaphilippe and 1:33 on Bauke Mollema.

Roglic had already grazed win in Itzulia Basque Country’s opener and stage 2, placing both times in the wake of the winner, Julian Alaphilippe.
