Bennett and Bouwman on the podium in Tour of the Alps stage 4

Team LottoNL-Jumbo's New Zealander and Dutchman rode Oltre XR4 to second and third respectively in Lienz

Team LottoNL-Jumbo's athletes rode their Oltre XR4 on two of the three podium steps in Tour of the Alps' stage 4, 134,3 km from Klausen (Italy) to Lienz (Austria) on Thursday, April 19th. After showing up with the top climbers and the GC leaders on Anras and Bannberg ascents, and trying one attack each, George Bennett and Koen Bouwman finished second and third respectively, preceded only by Astana's Luis Leon Sanchez. New Zealand's Bennett got to the finish with a 6-second gap from the winner, whist Dutch Bouwman (+11) outsprinted the chasing group.
Fourth placed twenty-four hours earlier in Meran, Bennett is curently seventh in the GC with a 1:10 gap from leader Thibaut Pinot.
