While being Dylan Groenewegen’s trusted winning machine in the sprints, Bianchi Oltre XR4 is a faithful companion on the hardest Grand Tours ascents for Steven Kruijswijk. In the spotlights at Vuelta a Espana, the 31-year-old rider from Neunen grazed victory in the stage 19, 154 km from Lleida to Col de la Rabassa (Spain) on Friday, September 14th. The Dutchman attacked since the early slopes of the final climb, joined by Thibaut Pinot and, later, by race leader Simon Yates, preceded by Pinot on the finish line. Kruijswijk was third with a 13-second gap, therefore moving up to the third overall spot with two stags to go, with a 1:58 gap from Yates and 20 seconds behind Alejandro Valverde.
Bianchi supplies the Team LottoNL-Jumbo with four models engineered with the Bianchi CV system powered by Countervail:
•         Oltre XR4, designed to maximize the aerodynamic advantage and control
•         Specialissima, the ultralight frame, perfect for GC riders, it’s extra stiff for increased traction and stability at high speeds, and maximum control on the descents
•         Aquila CV, the ultimate time trial machine, designed to increase power output and rider's energy, with maximum control with each pedal stroke
•         Infinito CV, the ideal bike for the Classics, providing remarkable control on uneven surfaces and reducing muscular fatigue
