Team Jumbo-Visma's Dutchman rode Oltre XR4 to outsprint Kristoff and Trentin in Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana's final stage
Bianchi + Team Road + Product
Team Jumbo-Visma's Dylan Groenewegen rode Oltre XR4 to the first seasonal win in Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana's fifth and final stage, 88,5 km from Paterna to Valencia (Spain). Groenewegen completed his effort in 1:50:17, outsprinting Alexander Kristoff and Matteo Trentin, re-affirming once more both his World-class sprinting skills and his feeling with Bianchi Oltre XR4.
Seizing the aerodynamic advantage of his Bianchi’s high-performance aero road racing machine, enhanced by the revolutionary Bianchi CV system, the 25-year-old from Amsterdam had closed the 2018 season with 14 wins.
Enhanced with the revolutionary Bianchi CV vibration cancelling system (using Countervail® unique carbon fiber architecture and viscoelastic resin), the Bianchi Oltre XR4 high-performance aero road racing machine allows rider to hold the most aerodynamic position at higher speeds and for longer, in order to maximize the aerodynamic advantage. The Oltre XR4 was designed to be at the absolute cutting edge of aerodynamics thanks to advanced CFD and Flow Visualization – technologies borrowed straight from aerospace and F1 car design: technology that turns into valuable watts in head-to-head finishes.
TEAM JUMBO-VISMA'S BIANCHI CV MODELS
Bianchi supplies the Team Jumbo-Visma with four models engineered with the Bianchi CV system powered by Countervail:
• Oltre XR4, designed to maximize the aerodynamic advantage and control
• Specialissima, the ultralight frame, perfect for GC riders, it’s extra stiff for increased traction and stability at high speeds, and maximum control on the descents
• Aquila CV, the ultimate time trial machine, designed to increase power output and rider's energy, with maximum control with each pedal stroke
• Infinito CV, the ideal bike for the Classics, providing remarkable control on uneven surfaces and reducing muscular fatigue
