Bianchi introduces new Methanol CV FS
Faster and faster. At home even on the most difficult tracks. Bianchi introduces Methanol CV FS, the mountain bike evolved into the most complete full-suspension XC race bike. A regular on the World Cup circuit in the front version, Methanol CV FS is the new generation of Bianchi mountain bikes, with a race pedigree weaved through its every fibre: a strong partner to successfully overcome trickiest roots, rock sections and rough descents
Improved control
An overhauled geometry means the chain stays are shorter, the reach is longer and the head tube angle is slacker, making this the perfect bike for any cross-country racer.
The new Methanol CV full-suspension will not only improve the way you ride, it will change how you ride. Technical descents once deemed too rough to attempt are now a breeze thanks to the Bianchi CV System: the use of Countervail special carbon material and viscoelastic resin allow to cancel 80% of the vibration, resulting in improved after shock control.
New carbon frame
The all-new carbon frame is built exclusively for use with 1x drivetrains, so you can keep spec weight to a minimum, and it comes in 15”, 17”, 19” and 21” versions. As you’d expect with a competition-crushing race bike, the frame has internal cable routes and is dropper post-compatible. It runs up to 29×2.4″ tyres and has a Boost 12x148TA rear axle.
Sper traction
The stiffness of the frame, combined with the vibration cancelling capacity of the Bianchi CV System, provides the best traction on the climbs as the rider push and pull himself away from the competition. Disappearing through the trees, working your way to setting personal bests, choosing the fastest lines possible will be a pleasant habit.
Trail configuration
The new Methanol CV FS comes available in two different Full Suspension Trail models. The frame is specced with a Fox 34 SC fork, DT Swiss M Series wheelset, dropper seatpost and a larger riser bar (760mm width).
