Bianchi secures Giro d’Italia podium with Simon Yates

After 21 days of intense, passionate competition, Bianchi and Simon Yates have stepped onto the podium of the 2021 Giro d’Italia together. The 28-year-old British climber secured third position after the final time trial in Milan on Sunday, May 30^th, behind the race’s eventual winner Egan Bernal and second-place Damiano Caruso.

The Team BikeExchange rider was among the top performers of the Corsa Rosa, showing his outstanding, explosive prowess as a climber with his Bianchi Specialissima – which is also the official bike of the 2021 Giro d’Italia. Yates claimed a prestigious solo victory in stage 19 at Alpe di Mera.

Bianchi was also the official partner of the Giro-E, the dedicated e-bike event taking place on the same route as the Giro d’Italia.
