Vanmarcke claims win and takes lead at Ster ZLM Toer

Team LottoNL-Jumbo's Belgian clinched victory after several good displays

Belgian Sep Vanmarcke celebrated his first success of 2016, claiming win in Ster ZLM Toer GP Jan van Heeswijk stage-4, 186 km with start in Verviers and finish in La Gileppe (Belgium) on Saturday, June 18th. The LottoNL-Jumbo rider preceded countrymen Wout Van Aert and Pieter Vanspeybrouck.
Thanks to this success Vanmarcke moved to the top of the GC with a 5-second advantage on Sean De Bie and 12 seconds on teammate Jos Van Emden. Team LottoNL-Jumbo won three stages out of four in Ster ZLM Toer so far: Van Emden topped the opening ITT in Goes (Netherlands) whilst Dylan Groenewegen clinched victory in the stage-3 with finish in Buchten (Netherlands).
Vanmarcke is equipped with Bianchi Oltre XR.2, an extreme racing bike, perfectly combining lightness, aerodynamic and stiffness. Bianchi also equips Team LottoNL-Jumbo with three more models: Specialissima, Infinito CV and TT Aquila CV bikes.
