Groenewegen runner-up in Dubai Tour's opener

The Dutch National champion rode his Oltre XR4 close to win in the UAE on January 31st

Team LottoNL-Jumbo's Dylan Groenewegen took his first seasonal podium in Dubai Tour's opening stage, 181 km with start and finish in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) on Tuesday, January 31st. In the mass sprint, the 23-year-old Dutch National champion rode his Oltre XR4 to the second position in 4:06:33 behind Marcel Kittel, preceding Mark Cavendish and the other main rivals.
Thanks to his strong debut, Groenewegen - back from a training camp in Spain - is the first leader of the Young riders’ classification.
Bianchi equips Team LottoNL-Jumbo with four models, starting with the brand-new Oltre XR4, the innovative aero racing bike featuring Countervail Carbon Vibration-Cancelling Technology, with a dedicated tuning in order to provide maximized aero advantage and control at high speeds.
