Bianchi + Team Road + Product
Primoz Roglic rode his Oltre XR4 to a thrilling solo win in Vuelta al Pais Vasco stage 4, 174,1 km from San Sebastian to Bilbao (Spain) on Thursday, April 6th. Team LottoNL-Jumbo's Slovenian attacked from a reduced bunch with less than 3 km to the finish, managing to say goodbye to his rivals in a flat stretch, after several attacks on the Vivero climb. Roglic got to the finish in 4:23:46, with a three-second advantage on Michael Matthews and Giovanni Visconti.
RUNNER-UP IN THE GC
Thanks to his brilliant action, Roglic went up to GC second place with the same time of the overall leader David De La Cruz, and sixth in the Points classification. Team LottoNL-Jumbo's George Bennett is seventh in the GC, with a three-second gap from the leader.
SECOND SEASONAL SUCCESS
Roglic claimed in Bilbao his second seasonal win after the Volta ao Algarve em Bicicleta's GC. In Portugal, Team LottoNL-Jumbo's rider also took two podium placements. The Slovenian was also third in Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana's stage 2 and Tirreno-Adriatico's stage 3.
