Team LottoNL-Jumbo gave an encore at Ster ZLM Toer. After Primoz Roglic's success in the prologue, Dylan Groenewegen won the stage 2 - 186,8 km from Tholen to Hoogerheide (Netherlands) - on Thursday, June 15th. The Dutchman outsprinted German Max Walscheid and countryman Moreno Hofland.
Roglic kept the GC lead with a 3-second advantage on Marcel Kittel and Maximilian Schachmann, with his teammate Roosen fifth (+8). Both Roglic and Groenewegen top the Points classification (15).
TOUR DE SUISSE: KRUIJSWIJK 6th
On the same day, Steven Kruijswijk finished sixth in Tour de Suisse's stage 6, 166,7 km from Locarno to La Punt (Switzerland), with a 12-second gap from the winner and new GC leader Domenico Pozzovivo. Kruijswijk is actually third in the general classification, 13 seconds behind the Italian duo made by Pozzovivo and Damiano Caruso.
