Dylan Groenewegen stepped on the podium of the EuroEyes Cyclassics Hamburg on Sunday August 20th. The Team LottoNL-Jumbo sprinter, equipped with Oltre XR4, Bianchi’s ultimate aero road racing machine, claimed the third spot in the German World Tour race – 220,9 km around the city of Hamburg – preceded by winner Elia Viviani (Team Sky) and runner-up Arnaud Demare (Fdj).
The 24-year-old Dutchman, winner in July of the Tour de France’s Champs Elysees prestigious final stage, launched himself in the sprint after a hard-fought race. For Groenewegen is the fitfh podium this season in a World Tour race.
