Team LottoNL-Jumbo's Dylan Groenewegen brilliantly rounded-out his first stage-race of the year, finishing second in Dubai Tour's general classification on Saturday, February 4th. Preceded only by German Marcel Kittel (with a 18-second gap), the Dutch national champion left behind rivals like John Degenkolb, Jean-Pierre Drucker and Elia Viviani, besides Mark Cavendish (9th).
Third in Dubai Tour's Points classification, runner-up with Oltre XR4 in the first two stages, Groenewegen wore the Best young rider's white leader jersey on the final podium of the third World Tour event of the year, preceding Italian Riccardo Minali.
On the same day, February 4th, Team LottoNL-Jumbo's Primoz Roglic and Steven Kruijswijk placed fifth and eighth respectively in Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana's stage 4, 180 km from Segorbe to Lucena, with Kruijswijk going up to ninth overall.
Team LottoNL-Jumbo's riders are equipped with four models engineered with Countervail® viscoelastic carbon material:
Oltre XR4, designed to maximize the aerodynamic advantage and control
Specialissima, the ultralight frame, perfect for GC riders, it’s extra stiff for increased traction and stability at high speeds, and maximum control on the descents
Infinito CV, the ideal bike for the Classics, it provides remarkable control on uneven surfaces and reduces muscular fatigue.
Aquila CV, the ultimate time trial machine, it’s designed to increase power output and rider's energy, with maximum control with each pedal stroke
