Team Bianchi Countervail’s Nadir Colledani and Chiara Teocchi couldn't aim for a better cyclocross debut with new Zolder Pro disc on Saturday, December 1st. Both the Italian riders claimed win, in the Men and Women's race respectively in Trofeo Triveneto's round 5 in Silandro (Northern Italy).
Colledani topped the Men's Open race in 56:28, with a 22-second advantage on Martino Fruet and 3:36 on Andrea Martinelli. "I liked the course, above all the decisive climb I could tackle with a powerful ride. In the first three laps I controlled Martino Fruet, then I speeded up the pace and soloed to win. In the last thousands of feet I slowed down managing the gap, in view of tomorrow's race", Colledani commented.
Teocchi closed the Women’s Open race in 39:27, 11 seconds faster than Anna Oberparleiter and 51 seconds ahead of Letizia Borghesi. “I’m really happy as it was a positive day for the whole team. Winning is always exciting and the feeling with the new bike was fantastic. I hope we’ll give an encore in Bolzano”, Teocchi said.
Tomorrow, December 2nd, both Colledani and Teocchi will take in Trofeo Triveneto's round 6 in Bolzano (Northern Italy).
