The 2017 souvenir photo of Fontana-Tempier's parade finish makes Team Bianchi Countervail's comeback in Nalles sweet. Last year's results will be a further boost to chase today's goals, with the whole Bianchi MTB Team focused on  the next Marlene Südtirol Sunshine Race - Internazionali d'Italia Series' round 1, to be held next Sunday, April 15th in Northern Italy. Marco Aurelio Fontana, Stephane Tempier, Nadir Colledani and Chiara Teocchi will stand among the international parade of stars taking in the 18th edition of the event, returned to UCI Hors Categorie this year.
Internazionali's best Under 23 Woman last year, Chiara Teocchi will enter the Women Open race scheduled at 1.00 pm. Fontana, Tempier and Colledani (fourth overall and best Under 23 Men at 2017 Internazionali) will play their cards in the Men’s Open race at 3.00 pm. All of them will use Methanol CV. The course is 5 km long with 200-meter difference in altitude. The Songbird's uphill (technical, a lot of hairpins, changes of pace), Keschtnigl (rock stretch), Guggerhütte (the steepest section), the Step Downhill (breath-taking descent), and the technical Gantered Downhill stand among the technical sections.
"As Internazionali d'Italia Series' reigning champion, I aim for a great performance for both myself and the team. Last year Stephane and I finished the race in parade, this year we'll also chase another important result, counting on a good shape. Our rivals are strong, but Team Bianchi Countervail is always used to target the best result and fight for it" 2017 Internazionali d'Italia Series' winner Marco Aurelio Fontana explains.
"My shape is good and I come from the victory at Garda Lake MTB Race: I'm ready to ride in the top positions. I like Nals' course, starting from the tough climb. The HC status will make the race level higher due to the presence of top-class riders: an exciting battle is waiting for us" last year's GC runner-up Stephane Tempier adds.
Bianchi supplies the team with two high end carbon models with racing geometry: the revolutionary Methanol CV and Methanol 29.1 FS (full suspension). The Junior Team is equipped with Methanol 29 SX model.
