Oltre XR4 or Aquila CV, the outcome is the same. Twenty-four hours after winning Tour of Slovenia's stage 4, Team LottoNL-Jumbo's Primoz Roglic topped the fifth and final stage - 21,5 km time trial from Trebnje to Novo Mesto (Slovenia) - keeping the leader's jersey and securing the overall win. The Slovenian rode Aquila CV to clock 24:26, 27 seconds faster than Jan Tratnik and 35 seconds less than Josef Cerny.
Roglic completed the Tour of Slovenia in 15:18:13, with a 1:50 advantage on Rigoberto Uran and 2:14 on Matej Mohoric, clinching the third overall success in 2018. The 28-year-old athlete from Trbovlje had previously celebrated in two World Tour stage races, the Itzulia Basque Country and the Tour de Romandie. Team LottoNL-Jumbo has claimed 19 wins in 2018 so far, including seven from Roglic.
Roglic keeps on shining as a multi-skilled stage-race rider, expressing his full potential with Oltre XR4 and Aquila CV, both engineered with the revolutionary Bianchi CV system using Countervail® patented carbon material. "Innovation means the possibility to use the best possible technology and the best material. Using Countervail you have better control on your bike and the opportunity to save some energy that at the end you can use when the details make the difference" Roglic explained in the first "I #RideBianchi" episode.
Bianchi supplies the Team LottoNL-Jumbo with four models engineered with the Bianchi CV system:
  • Oltre XR4, designed to maximize the aerodynamic advantage and control
  • Specialissima, the ultralight frame, perfect for GC riders, it’s extra stiff for increased traction and stability at high speeds, and maximum control on the descents
  • Aquila CV, the ultimate time trial machine, designed to increase power output and rider's energy, with maximum control with each pedal stroke
  • Infinito CV, the ideal bike for the Classics, providing remarkable control on uneven surfaces and reducing muscular fatigue
