A Celeste flash over the finish line in Chartres gives Bianchi and Team LottoNL-Jumbo the first victory at 2018 Tour de France. On Friday, July 13th, Dylan Groenewegen was the fastest wheel of “Grande Boucle” stage 7, 231 Km from Fougères to Chartres, clinching his second stage win at Tour de France with Oltre XR4, after the amazing success achieved last year on Paris’ Champs-Elysées.
Seizing the aerodynamic advantage of his Oltre XR4, the high-performance aero road racing machine enhanced with the revolutionary Bianchi CV system, Groenewegen unleashed a powerful sprint on the slightly uphill finish line. Colombian Fernando Gaviria and World Champion Peter Sagan rounded out a top-class podium on the day, while Belgium’s Greg Van Avermaet retained the yellow jersey.
Groenewegen took his tenth seasonal win. At the Tour de France, the Dutch rider is equipped with a special hand-painted edition Oltre XR4 frame. The bike of Groenewegen is characterized by the Dutch Lion realized with an appealing metallic paint and the triple "X" on the top tube, the historical symbol of his birth city - Amsterdam.
Bianchi supplies the Team LottoNL-Jumbo with four models engineered with the Bianchi CV system:
  • Oltre XR4, designed to maximize the aerodynamic advantage and control
  • Specialissima, the ultralight frame, perfect for GC riders, it’s extra stiff for increased traction and stability at high speeds, and maximum control on the descents
  • Aquila CV, the ultimate time trial machine, designed to increase power output and rider's energy, with maximum control with each pedal stroke
  • Infinito CV, the ideal bike for the Classics, providing remarkable control on uneven surfaces and reducing muscular fatigue
