Team LottoNL-Jumbo claimed an impressive win in Ovo Energy Tour of Britain stage 5, a 14-km TTT from Cockermouth to Whinlatter Pass (UK) on Thursday, September 6th. The six-man roster equipped with Aquila CV, including Maarten Wynants, Neilson Powless, Jos Van Emden, Pascal Eenkhoorn, Koen Bowman and Primoz Roglic laid down the law clocking 19:37, with a 16-second advantage on Quick-Step Floors and 20 seconds on Team Katusha - Alpecin.
Thanks to the team's success in the TTT, Slovenian Primoz Roglic took the GC lead in 15:45:04, followed by Julian Alaphilippe (+0:06) and Bob Jungels (+0:16). Team LottoNL-Jumbo's Eenkhoorn (+34), Van Emden and Powless (+37) are sixth, eight and ninth respectively. The British stage race goes on until Sunday, September 9th in London.
