The Slovenian well positioned to attack Yates’ GC lead in final time trial

Primoz Roglic (Team Jumbo-Visma) finished third in Tirreno-Adriatico stage 5, 180 km from Colle al Metauro to Recanati (Italy) on Sunday, March 17th. Equipped with Oltre XR4, the 29-year-old Slovenian finished the race behind Jakob Fuglsang and Adam Yates. The latter held his GC lead with a 25-second advantage on Roglic and 35" on Fuglsang, with the Slovenian holding a good chance to attack the overall success in Tuesday’s closing time trial.
Roglic had already grazed win in Tirreno-Adriatico's stage 4, 221 km from Foligno to Fossombrone (Italy), the same result scored by the whole Team Jumbo-Visma in the opening TTT with start and finish in Lido di Camaiore (Italy).
