Dylan Groenewegen (Team Jumbo-Visma) added another classic race to his list of achievments, winning the 43rd Driedaagse Brugge-De Panne, 200,3 km World Tour event with start in Brugge and finish in De Panne (Belgium), on Wednesday, March 27th. Both Fernando Gaviria and Elia Viviani had to settle for a podium spot, as the 25-year-old rider from Amsterdam - equipped with Bianchi Oltre XR4 - acted one of his trademark powerful sprints, claiming a dominating win. It’s the fifth win of the season for Groenewegen.

Meantime, Team Jumbo Visma's Steven Kruijswijk finished sixth in 99th Volta Ciclista a Catalunya stage 3, 179 km from Sant Feliu de Guixols to Vallter 2000 (Spain), won by Adam Yates. The Dutchman moved up to seventh in the GC, with a 1:06 gap from the leader, Thomas De Gendt.
