George Bennett (Team Jumbo-Visma) placed third in Amgen Tour of California's stage 6, 127,5 km from Ontario to Mount Baldy on Friday, May 17th. Like two years ago, the New Zealander rode Oltre XR4 close to success in the queen stage of the US' World Tour race, with a 5-second gap from Tadej Pogacar and Sergio Higuita. Winner of 2017 Amgen Tour of California, Bennett went up to GC fourth with one stage to go, 29 seconds behind leader Pogacar.
