Groenewegen third in Binck Bank Tour stage 2

Dylan Groenewegen (Team Jumbo-Visma) placed third in Binck Bank Tour stage 2, 169,1 km from Blankenberge to Ardooie (Belgium) on Tuesday, August 13th. Equipped with Oltre XR4, the Dutchman hunted for his 15th seasonal victory in the mass sprint, finishing behind Sam Bennett and Jasper Philipsen. Groenewegen is now eighth in the GC with a 16-second gap from Bennett, ahead of teammate Mike Teunissen (same time) who had closed third in the opener.
