Dylan Groenewegen claimed the stage 1 win and wore the first leader's jersey at 4 Jours de Dunkerque / Grand Prix des Hauts de France's opener, 172,9 km with start in Dunkerque and finish in Condé-sur-l'Escaut (France), on Tuesday, May 14th. The Team Jumbo-Visma Dutchman rode Oltre XR4 to his sixth seasonal success in 4:17:15, outsprinting Marc Sarreau and teammate Mike Teunissen. Amund Grøndahl Jansen rounded-out Team Jumbo Visma's display, finishing ninth.
GIRO D'ITALIA: ROGLIC STRENGTHENS GC LEAD
Team Jumbo-Visma's Primoz Roglic strenthened his Giro d'Italia's lead by placing sixth and gaining seconds on his main rivals in the stage 4 - 235 km from Orbetello to Frascati - topped by Richard Carapaz and affected by a big crash with less than 5 km to the finish. Roglic now leads with a 35-second advantage on Simon Yates and 39 seconds on Vincenzo Nibali.
