Van Emden rides his special Aquila CV to 2nd in Tirreno-Adriatico's ITT

Equipped with a new version of his Bianchi's TT bike in the exclusive CK16 coloration, the Dutchman grazed the success in the closing time trial, finishing second, just 4 seconds behind Dennis

Team LottoNL-Jumbo’s Jos Van Emden inaugurated his new Bianchi Aquila CV placing second in Tirreno-Adriatico's final stage, a 10 km ITT with start and finish in San Benedetto del Tronto (Italy) today, Tuesday March 13th. The Dutchman clocked a 11:18 time, closing with a 4-second gap from winner Rohan Dennis. Jonathan Castroviejo rounded out the podium.
Both Van Emden and his teammate Primoz Roglic - winner of Tirreno-Adriatico stage 3 in Trevi (Italy) and ninth in the final ITT with a 18-second gap from Dennis - rode a new version of their Bianchi's Aquila CV TT bike featuring the exclusive "celeste" CK16 coloration and hand-painted in Italy by Bianchi's expert craftsmen
