Roglic claims Vuelta a España opener
Bianchi started the 75th Vuelta a España as it ended the last, as it wasted no time in reclaiming the leader’s red jersey. Riding his Oltre XR4, Team Jumbo-Visma’s Primoz Roglic took stage 1, 173 km from Irun to Arrate on Tuesday October 20th. In the opening stage summit finish, the Slovenian Champion beat Richard Carapaz and Dan Martin with a dig well inside the final kilometre, finalising the great job of teammate Sepp Kuss. Roglic leads the overall standings with 5” on Carapaz and 7” on Martin.
At Vuelta a España, Primoz Roglic uses a special Oltre XR4 in a black colourway. Bianchi developed a unique paint system that significantly reduces the molecular weight of the coating. Thanks to Bianchi particular paint system, the Bianchi’s rider saved up to 80gr on the bike’s total weight, improving the power to weight ratio when climbing.
