Roglic restarts season with a victory


The UCI World Ranking #1 returns immediately to victory in his first race of 2020 season, claiming the Slovenian National road race Champion

Primoz Roglic claimed the Slovenian National Championships’ Road race, 145,8 km from Cerklje to Ambrož pod Krvavcem on Sunday, June 21st. Equipped with Bianchi Oltre XR4, the Team Jumbo-Visma rider beat Tadej Pogacar in the last climb of Ambrož pod Krvavcem with a dig well inside the final kilometre. After his last appearance at the Chrono des Nations 2019, Slovenian National Championships was the first race of 2020 Roglic’s season. The 30-year-old took the national title for the first time in his career.
