Tolhoek soloes to maiden WT success in Suisse


Antwan Tolhoek (Team Jumbo Visma) soloed to clinch his maiden World Tour win in first Tour de Suisse uphill finish, at the end of the stage 6 – 120,2 km from Einsiedeln to Flumserberg (Switzerland) – on Thursday June 20th. Part of a long breakaway, Tolhoek launched his decisive attacks on the final slopes, preceding the new GC leader Egan Bernal (+17) and François Bidard (+24) on the finish line.
