Team Jumbo-Visma 3rd in Hammer Limburg’s Sprint race

The Bianchi-equipped World Tour team preceded only by Deceuninck-Quick-Step and BORA – Hansgrohe

Team Jumbo-Visma placed third in Hammer Series Limburg’s Sprint race with start and finish in Sittard-Geleen (Netherlands) on Saturday, June 8th. On a 12,4 km course covered 8 times, the quintet including Jos van Emden, Paul Martens, Floris De Tier, Tom Leezer and Taco Van der Hoorn  finished the race with 541 points, with the latter in the spotlights in the early race. Deceuninck-Quick-Step claimed win ahead of BORA-Hansgrohe.

The Hammer Limburg is going to finish today, June 9th, with the Hammer Chase event: Team Jumbo-Visma will start in third position, 28 seconds after BORA-Hansgrohe and 58 seconds after Deceuninck-Quick-Step. The Bianchi-equipped World Tour team will run for another good display after the success at Hammer Stavanger, 2019 Hammer Series’ opening round, two weeks ago.
